This is a question that’s been rolling around in my head for about four years now. I finally decided to get on with it as they say, and start a blog. I have some specific thoughts on blogging as a creative outlet, and I’ll share more on those thoughts in another post soon. As a super busy and frequently overwhelmed stay-at home-mom of two little girls and a hardworking husband, I’ve had all sorts of ideas swirling around, ever since leaving full-time work. I finally figured out that maybe that fact alone is a sign. (Again, more on that coming soon!) My ideas mostly have to do with thoughts about my girls, things I want them to know, ideas about loving them and raising them that I want to share. I also live in a house we moved into almost two years ago. I was an interior designer for twelve years, so I can’t help but see an opportunity to tweak or design every inch of this house to really make it our own. When we moved, my attention to my own health and fitness took a back seat and lately I’ve been feeling tired. (Not a good feeling when you have a four year old and six year old to keep up with.) I started a new health/fitness plan recently and I also want to share my journey around that. The great thing about blogging is that you get to share your experiences with anyone out there on the internet. I think it would be so nice to find a community, to allow people to share ideas and support each other. I hope to inspire with this blog and share new friendships as well, but please know, I’m not perfect. It might take me a little while to find a schedule that works well and it might take some time to settle into a writing style that is comfortable. Along the way, I hope all of the little steps, hiccups, thoughts, and photos, add up to something worth taking in. I welcome any comments as long as they aren’t mean spirited. I would LOVE to share information, form new friendships, inspire others, and create a safe place for people to come when they need a break from the every day. Please feel free to leave a comment. Have a great day!
